Your guide to developing and maintaining your resilience
These are (25+) tried and tested, evidence-based, tips and techniques for you to try out/experiment with, to keep up and enhance your levels of resilience, particularly during the trickier times. They are suggestions, prompts, 'nudges' relating to your mindset and behaviours: what you can do more of, and less of, to achieve that. You can perhaps try one or two of those that are new to you each day, and drop or ignore those that don’t work, don’t suit or don’t make sense to you. If you can persist and practice and incorporate some of them into your daily life, they can become habitual, ‘automatic’ and ‘second nature’, and just become what you do, and how you think and behave. (Let’s remember that this is a case of ‘trial and error’: let’s persist and keep at it, but under no circumstances give ourselves a hard time if we’ve given one of the techniques a go, and it hasn’t worked out as planned).

Hi there! I'm Marc, and I'm a stress management and emotional wellbeing coach and trainer. I began in this role in 2003, intially working as a staff counsellor in government, supporting others to make more/the most of themselves and situations and deal with any barriers to achieving that. Stress was our biggest caseload, so I decided to specialise and become qualified in this area. My role as I see it is to support you in your development to continue to grow, to make the most of yourself and to be personally effective. These tried and tested, evidence-based tips and techniques are ones that I've picked up over the years, learned about and seen others benefit from.
