Hi there! It's a big 'hello' from me, Marc Kirby, I'm a highly-qualified coach and trainer here at the Wellbeing and Resilience Club. I'm really looking forward to welcoming you, it will be great to have you along!
Who the Club is for
It's for people like you who are interested in personal development, with an emphasis on wellbeing and resilience, supporting you to make more/the most of yourself and situations and encouraging and enhancing your ability to deal with life's ups and downs.
I've set up this community to share learnings, activities, suggestions, pointers, ‘nudges’ and encouragements that will help to promote your wellbeing and resilience, in terms of your thinking, emotions, behaviours, habits and lifestyle; to share with you tried and tested, evidence-based techniques, skills and practices on an ongoing basis: to try out, to practice and to benefit from, as you deem necessary.

How it works
Once a week, I'll be recommending a task; 'assignment'; practice requiring action by you - nothing too onerous!! – in areas that we know can make a positive difference to our wellbeing and resilience, as per the graphic on the right (below if you're on your smartphone right now). Some will be more relevant to each of us as individuals than others, and you give them a go as little or as often as you like.
Feedback on how you get on with these - via the fortnightly group session mentioned below - and how they 'land' is part-and-parcel of how the community will work. And because it's a community, we have the opportunity to share the learning and experience(s) of others - what you/they did that was useful etc.
Ongoing development sessions
- a fortnightly LIVE ONLINE GROUP COACHING SESSION: e.g. feedback from members on the activities undertaken; Q and A; topic suggested by the group
- a monthly online LIVE TRAINING/DEVELOPMENT WEBINAR covering one of the topics in the graphic at the top, or an associated topic
They’ll be recorded if you miss any that you can watch later, or watch again.
NB Training/development session is tutor-led; group coaching session facilitated by the tutor, but is member-led in terms of content covered.
Finally, it's a new community, and I'll be seeking views, ideas and suggestions as to structure and content as the community grows and develops.
